After coming to an agreement, the regulatory bodies in NIRA and UCC have provided telecos with the equipment to verify SIM card ownership in times of replacement and acquisition. MTN Uganda has announced the availability of the replacement service at select MTN service centers. These centers have been equipped with the National ID verification and Bio-metric systems.
